Minimum wage need not be inflationary...

In simple terms, creating minimum wage in Singapore will not immediately create inflation. On the other hand, it may spur business to be more strategic in corporate training so that workers will be competent and be justified for their pay package.

New Opposition Coalition

If by chance there are multi-opposition party representation within the newly elected parliament, I wonder if Singapore is ready for an opposition coalition? 

Perhaps the leader of this opposition coalition can be the second minister of a government portfolio. In the short run, this can help the opposition have a bigger say in the running of the country.

My suggestion is the MCYS portfolio be given to be managed in this way.
